Full of light, yet intimate the luxurious complement to our spa facilities is represented in our Spa-Junior Suites. They are furnished contrastingly with Asian, as well as native materials, such as bamboo and oak, and are fitted with modern flat screen TVs, docking station, fan, mini-bar and coffee/tea- making facilities.
Its special eye-catcher is the wallpaper. It was specially designed for each room by Obwalden artist Catherine Lienert and is inspired by the Thai flowers that give the rooms their names.
The Dok Bua Spa-Junior Suite has a finnish sauna in the spacious bathroom, a waterfall shower, a freestanding whirlbath in the room and a private terrace.

Due to sustainability reasons, we stopped using one use slippers in the spa bag since 2022. We kindly ask you to bring your own slippers with you. If required, you may buy sustainable slippers for CHF 7.00 at the reception.
Name of the flower
The Lotus flower and water lily are known as Dok Bua in Thailand. The lotus represents purity, creativity and enlightenment. The bright pinks, soft rose tones and yellows of the Dok Bua wallpaper impart energy and freshness.
