Soon 30 years of Thai cuisine at the Seehotel Wilerbad
While on holiday in Thailand, Bruno Odermatt, former director of the Seehotel Wilerbad, fell in love with the country’s light and tasty cuisine. He was determined to bring it to Obwalden and so the story of the Taptim Thai restaurant began in March 1997 with Thai weeks.
The exotic cuisine soon proved very popular with hotel guests and the local population. Today, the restaurant is known and appreciated far beyond the borders of the canton for lovers of Thai cuisine.
In the kitchen, ‘Max’ has been creating fresh and colourful dishes for more than 25 years. ‘Joe’ has been actively assisting him for several years. In order to be able to offer authentic cuisine, directly imported food and original Thai crockery are a must.
