The Glaubenberg moorland is located between the Entlebuch and the Lungerer and Sarnersee. With an area of around 130 square kilometers, it surpasses Lake Lucerne in its extent. In winter, you can enjoy the snow on 14 kilometers of slopes, 6 kilometers of winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails, as well as around 2.2 kilometers of well-prepared cross-country skiing trails.

The geographical center of Switzerland is located on Älggialp. Since the actual center is located on a steep rock face, the center has been shifted 500 meters to the southeast from the calculation. A triangulation pyramid marks the center. From a small hill near the mountain inn Älggi, there is an expansive view over the alpine ground, of the surrounding mountains, and towards the Central Plateau.

The Lungern-Turren Railway takes you in just a few minutes to 1562 m above sea level into the popular recreation area Turren–Schönbüel. This quiet, nature-oriented, and family-friendly hidden gem has experienced a resurgence in recent years. The steepest cogwheel railway in the world has been running from Alpnachstad up to Pilatus Kulm since 1889. The journey runs along blooming alpine meadows, clear mountain streams, and striking rock formations. Once at the top, you are greeted with an impressive panoramic view of the mountain range of the alpine massif.

Engelberg–Titlis is located in an extensive high valley in Central Switzerland and is easily accessible by train and car. During the summer months, numerous hiking trails and excursion options are available. In winter, Engelberg–Titlis is one of the largest winter sports areas in the region and offers an extensive network of slopes as well as other offerings such as winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails.
